Kantar Launches TGI Target Snapshot App

Kantar Media has launched an app called 'TGI Target Snapshot', to enable agency execs to access and understand insights into a range of consumer behaviour, including brand usage, consumption levels, shopper type, demographics and media consumption.

Launch of another TGI appIt's the firm's second TGI app launch in just over a month, following that of TGI Digital Planner.

The TGI study provides in-depth insights into online and off-line consumer behaviour and characteristics, and is used for consumer profiling, brand positioning, media planning and buying. According to COO Alex Kuhnel the new app, TGI Target Snapshot, enables an instant 360-degree view of product and brand consumers, accessible on a range of devices. It is currently available in the UK and France, and will be rolled out in further markets shortly.

'When you need consumer insights, you generally need them instantly. So we have worked with agencies to build a web app that enables the comparison of consumers of different brands in just a few clicks', Kuhnel explains. 'These can be understood in relation to a range of consumer characteristics and behaviour, including product and brand usage, consumption frequency and media use. This is all packaged in a dynamic, engagingly visualised interface from which the insights can be directly exported'.
