Fast-Growing DJS Hires Two, Promotes Four

July 15 2015

Cheshire, UK-based agency DJS Research has announced two new hires - Christine Scally and Holly Slater - and four promotions, strengthening its operations and research arms, and its focus on marcoms.

DJS, which offers qual and quant research through a wide range of methods, has grown every year for the last thirteen years, and in April reported a 26% increase in turnover to £3.6m for the financial year 2014/15. The company announced seven new members of staff and six promotions as recently as February; and in April launched Chatter Zone, an online market research community for parents, kids and teens.

Scally joins as a Field Recruitment Executive and will work with Anthea Thompson on qualitative recruitment projects. Slater joins with the same title and will manage B2B and B2C recruitment projects, as well as working with the company's specialist education MR unit, VoicED.

The four promotions 're-iterate the firm's commitment to internal development and progression, and demonstrate its continued desire to invest in the Operations department', according to Operations Director Matt Coulling. Alistair Smith, who joined the company in 2011, has been promoted from Senior Data Executive, to Operations Manager for Data Services, managing a team of around ten. Liam Higgins and Matt Walker joined in 2013 and 2014 respectively and are both promoted from RE to SRE; and Beth Harcourt, who also joined in 2014, has been promoted from Marketing and Communications Assistant to Marketing Coordinator.

DJS is aiming for a turnover of £4m this year, and says it will look to take on three Junior Research Executives in the coming months, renewing its established graduate scheme. Coulling says the firm also plans further hires later in the year.
