Senior Changes for TNS Infratest

In Germany, Kantar-owned media research specialist TNS Infratest has moved former MD Dirk Steffen to the newly created position of Chief Digital Officer, and promoted company veteran Oliver Ecke to replace him.

Steffen joined the firm in 2008, as Director for its New Interactive Center (NICe), prior to which he briefly worked at Gartner, and spent more than four years at the META Group. Ecke has served in senior roles at TNS Infratest since 1992, during which time he led the initiative to integrate TNS Infratest and TNS Emnid, and helped develop a number of research methodologies.

As part of the re-organisation, Petra Dittrich has been promoted to Senior Director after more than sixteen years with the business. Most recently, she was responsible for the Brand and Communication area of the Media division, and was key account manager for large German trade publishers.

The company now operates under the direction of Ecke, with three teams at sites in Munich, Bielefeld and Hamburg.
