TNS Names Clissold-Vasey COO

In London, TNS has transferred Richard Clissold-Vasey to the role of Chief Operating Officer, with a place on the UK Board.

Clissold-Vasey takes up the new position after eight years at the company, most recently as Chief Commercial Director in the TNS Global Transformation team. Before joining, he was Director of Consulting at Glendinning Management Consultants (acquired by Kantar Retail), and Managing Partner at Customer Marketing Solutions. Earlier, he held client-side roles at United Biscuits, Anchor Foods and Mars Confectionery, having begun his career at Rover Group.

In his new position, Clissold-Vasey will report directly to UK CEO Will Galgey, who comments: 'Richard will work closely with the rest of the Board and me to develop and co-ordinate our overall business strategy and planning, while overseeing our continuous improvement initiatives. He brings with him a wealth of experience in consulting, change management and business transformation. All these skills are vitally important in an industry that is evolving rapidly to embrace new technologies, new methodologies and an increasingly demanding marketplace'.
