PerformLine Launches Online Chat Compliance Solution

US marketing compliance company PerformLine has launched a tool called ChatScout, to help brands monitor their online 'chat' sessions, and ensure they adhere to brand and regulatory requirements.

Alex BaydinPerformLine's platform PerformMatch automatically monitors contact centers, chat activity and the web to ensure full regulatory, brand and TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) compliance for marketers, while providing automated quality assurance review for staff training. The new tool, which will be added to this, has been developed to help companies address issues with their chat sessions, including failure to disclose relevant information, providing incorrect or misleading information, and staff going 'off script' or using inappropriate language. ChatScout reviews 100% of a company's chat sessions, and flags observations to identify training and performance improvement requirements.

CEO Alex Baydin (pictured) comments: 'Before the launch of our ChatScout technology, most companies were only able to spot check a few chat logs daily, exposing brands to high levels of risk. The addition of this new technology to our platform will provide brands with the necessary information and documentation to ensure that all online chat activity is being monitored and is following the same rules as other channels'.
