GfK Hires McLauchlan for UK Media Team

GfK has appointed Gavin McLauchlan as Business Development Director, Global and UK Media.

Gavin McLauchlanMcLauchlan (pictured) joins with more than two decades' experience of business development and client service in the media, market research and retail loyalty industries. He has been working as a digital media consultant for the past twelve years, and has recently served as a Partner at digital strategy and data protection consultancy Ixium. Earlier in his career, he was a Business Manager at Nielsen and IRI Infoscan; Retail Director at Catalina Marketing; and Acting Sales Director at BBC Technology, working as part of the Freeview launch team. In addition, he served as EMEA Customer Marketing Manager at Microsoft TV, where he was responsible for introducing BT Vision.

In his new role, McLauchlan will work with media groups, operators, advertisers and agencies, focusing in particular on GfK's Crossmedia Link panel.
