Simpson Carpenter Hires Innovation Leader

UK full-service research and insights consultancy Simpson Carpenter has appointed Joanna Grankin as Development Lead in its Innovation team.

Founded in 1998 and based in Wimbledon, Simpson Carpenter provides insight for automotive, retail and technology, media and telecoms clients in the UK and overseas. The firm specialises in combining traditional research techniques with developments in text mining, data visualisation and semiotics to uncover business information.

Grankin (pictured) joins from business growth specialist Touchstone Growth, where she served as Senior Manager for seven years, overseeing development strategies for clients in sectors such as pharmaceutical and digital. Earlier, she spent more than a decade at electronics products distributor Trekstor, where she served as Sales, Marketing and Business Development Manager.

In her new role, Grankin will work across the business helping to develop and promote innovative new approaches to understanding what consumers think, feel and need.
