GfK Partners for New Boston UX Studio

June 21 2016

GfK and MR facilities operator Fieldwork have teamed up to launch a new user experience (UX) research studio in Boston's MetroWest area.

Fieldwork was established in the 1980s and now boasts fifteen facilities across the US, plus solutions and support for online research, ethnographic research, usability research, convention research and focus groups.

The new studio will offer 'more flexibility to cater to the often-complicated lab setups required in UX research', according to the firms, with facilities and technologies including high-fidelity digital capture of audio and video; eye trackers; and mobile device camera rigs. The lab can also offer simulated environments from a hospital room to a retail kiosk.

Lauren Zack, SVP of User Experience and head of the Boston-based UX team at GfK, says the partnership will improve service to East Coast clients, while Christine Lally, Fieldwork's President in the city, comments: 'We are thrilled to work with GfK to continue to provide outstanding recruiting and research facilities that always exceed expectations'.
