Former QuestBack UK MD Joins App Annie

App store analytics firm App Annie has appointed former QuestBack UK MD Paul Barnes as Northern Europe Territory and Middle East Territory Director. The firm has also hired Al Campa as Chief Marketing Officer, and promoted Nicolas Beraudo to the role of Managing Director, EMEA.

Paul BarnesApp Annie is used by the developers of more than a million apps to track their performance. Its Store Intelligence product helps clients understand the app ecosystem; Audience Intelligence offers publishers in-depth analysis of app users' demographics, related apps and sentiment data; and the firm also has its own internal Research & Analysis division. The firm, which is headquartered in San Francisco with twelve global offices in cities including Amsterdam, Beijing, London, New York, Seoul and Tokyo.

Barnes (pictured) joins in London from enterprise feedback management (EFM) specialist QuestBack, where as UK MD he led regional operations, managing a team of twenty people. He previously helped found speech recognition application pioneer Fluency Voice Technology, then established the UK business of multichannel and multilingual customer interaction management software provider Eptica.

Beraudo joined the firm's London office in 2012 as EVP Worldwide Sales, GM North America, having previously spent seven years at game maker Glu Mobile as VP, Business Development, responsible for inbound licensing and OEM partnerships. Earlier, he was Senior Director of Licensing for Atari, and he held senior sales roles at Virgin Interactive and Interplay. Before joining App Annie's San Francisco HQ, Campa was CMO at RingCentral, an EIR and Partner at Sierra Ventures, CEO of Reachable, and CMO at Taleo, which was later acquired by Oracle.
