Haddad Joins Altice to Set Up Data Analytics Practice

In New York, cable, fiber, telecoms, content and media company Altice has hired Paul Haddad as Global Chief Data Officer, overseeing the creation of a Data Analytics practice across all group subsidiaries.

Paul HaddadHaddad (pictured) previously worked at Cablevision (recently taken over by Altice) as SVP & General Manager of Advanced Data Analytics, having previously worked for Concurrent Computer Corporation as VP and General Manager of Media Data and Advertising Solutions. Earlier, he co-founded Solusia Technologies, and he spent nearly a decade at Nortel Networks.

In his new role Haddad is tasked with launching local and global advertising solutions, and driving the development of products and pricing strategies for each of the group's territories. Haddad will also continue to lead and expand Altice USA's advanced data analytics business (previously part of Cablevision) to provide clients with advertising-related data intelligence.

He will report to Dexter Goei, Altice USA Chairman and CEO; and Michel Combes, Altice Group CEO, who comments: 'Paul has a deep expertise in how data analytics and advanced advertising can maximize media opportunities for clients across all platforms, and he is the ideal executive to bring these solutions to our businesses across the globe. The introduction of a focused data business is an important step in our strategy.'
