Senior Hire for Lithium Technologies

Jim Cox has been hired as Lithium Technologies' new SVP and CFO. The role includes building on the multi-year financial strategy that supports Lithium's goals of strengthening its leadership position in the community market, while further growing its presence in the social media management space.

Jim Cox - Lithium Technologies Chief Financial OfficerCox, who is a former Lithium customer, previously held the same titles at Advent Software, having joined as CFO in 2009; and before this he held various roles at UTStarcom Inc and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The company has been growing fast in 2016, with new 'Value Analytics' and 'Cohort Benchmarking' products launched at the turn of the year, to help gauge actual business impact from online communities; and new social marketing product Lithium Reach doing well after launching in June.

Cox who succeeds Mark Culhane and will report to CEO Rob Tarkoff, who comments: 'This is an exciting time for Lithium as we look to grow our business and diversify our product portfolio to take advantage of the huge market opportunity in front of us. I know Jim's the right guy for the job, with his track record of growing revenues and increasing operating income in his prior roles. We're looking forward to him rolling up his sleeves and getting involved right away'. He adds: 'I'd personally like to thank Mark for his dedication to Lithium and for building a fantastic team over these past four years. With the hard work Mark has done, Jim is inheriting a world-class team in his new role'.
