NetBooster Names New CEO

In Frankfurt, full service digital marketing agency the NetBooster Group has promoted Thomas Armbruster to the position of Chief Executive Officer, replacing Tim Ringel who has stepped down for personal reasons.

Thomas ArmbrusterThe group invests in online marketing technology for search engine optimisation and marketing, data and analytics, display, affiliation, online media, creation, eCRM and social media. In 2012, WPP acquired a majority stake in Netbooster Asia, which also offers web research and benchmarking, and social media monitoring.

Armbruster (pictured), who most recently served as COO, joined the group six years ago, from digital agency metapeople where he was CFO, having previously held senior roles at UBS and Commerzbank. In his new role, he is tasked with driving the group's strategic agenda, while Ringle will remain as an independent Board member and shareholder.
