Focus Pointe Hires Pam Maltby for Lead Bus Dev Role

In the US, data collection specialist Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has hired industry veteran Pam Maltby as Chief Business Development Officer, focusing on client development, new areas of growth with an emphasis on expanded service offerings, and strategies built around emerging technologies.

Pam MaltbyThe firm, which was founded in 1988, has eighteen focus group facilities located throughout the US and boasts field capabilities in 'all' US cities, plus the proprietary FPG Qual-Panel with 1.5 million members. Maltby (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' industry experience. Most recently, as SVP, Client Development at Research Now, she led the sales and development of corporate, strategic and media business practices. Before this, she was with Ipsos/Ipsos ASI for eleven years, latterly as President of the US region. Earlier, she spent thirteen years at Nielsen in a variety of senior roles.

In her new position, which also involves leading a sales team, Maltby will report to CEO Laura Livers, who comments: 'Pam is a highly experienced leader with proven success in the marketing research industry. Her expertise in the areas of new business development and strategic planning have directly impacted the success of major research companies such as Ipsos ASI, Research Now, and Nielsen.
