ORC International Hires Director in Singapore

ORC International has appointed Varna Arun, formerly of Frost & Sullivan, as Asia-Pacific Commercial Director based in Singapore.

Arun (pictured), who will lead ORC's Strategy and Innovation business development in the region, was Frost & Sullivan's Sales Director for Asia, covering a range of strategic solutions and customer segments. Her experience includes work with hospitals, pharma, medical device and connected health companies in the region.

In her new role she will work with Bhavya Sehgal, appointment last summer to lead the business across the regionas Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific. ORC says the latest hire reflects its plans to 'address new business and economic challenges in the Asia-Pacific market', including clients' desire to 'revisit their go-to-market strategies, and organizational designs'. According to Sehgal: 'With disruptions and innovations taking place across Asia-Pacific, there is a need to simplify the ever-growing complexity in the market place and help clients through actionable insights. Varna's appointment is in that exact spirit'.
