Industry exec Padmanabhan Ramaswamy has set up a B2B marketplace called InsightzClub, to connect buyers and sellers of market research through programmatic technology. The initiative will launch in Malaysia and Singapore, with plans to roll out elsewhere at a later stage.
Ramaswamy (pictured) most recently served as Head of Business Intelligence and Analytics at eCommerce venture GemFIVE: before this he was Head of Analytics and Marketing Intelligence at online shopping site Lazada Group (now part of Alibaba Group), and a regional Consultant for Nielsen-owned marketing modelling specialist Pointlogic. Earlier in his career, he was AD, Consulting and Analytics at Universal McCann; Manager of Client Solutions at Nielsen; and an RE at Quantum.
The new InsightzClub platform uses proprietary technology to match and serve the most relevant surveys to buyers. Commenting on the launch, Ramaswamy said: 'We live in a highly dynamic and fast paced world where we believe enough market research is not being undertaken due to cost, time and data quality issues. We hope to plug this gap in the market through our solution'.
