GfK's Kahlert is New COO at MR Software Firm Cubeyou

Customer profiling and trend measurement software firm Cubeyou, Inc. has hired former GfK MRI Digital MD Florian Kahlert to serve as its Chief Operating Officer. His role will include overseeing the firm's move to a new HQ in New York City.

Cubeyou's big data and predictive software feed off a proprietary social panel which it says is the largest consumer panel in the US - also incorporating data from other carefully selected sources. In October last year, the company partnered with GfK MRI to help clients understand the relation between social media and product usage.

The new headquarters, on Madison Avenue, opened in February and complements locations in Redwood City, CA and Milan, Italy.

Kahlert (pictured) worked at InsightExpress and Right Media before moving to Knowledge Networks, where he was an SVP at subsidiary KN Dimestore. The company was acquired by GfK at the end of 2011 and Kahlert became Managing Director of the new Digital Market Intelligence unit in 2012. A year later he added the role of MD of GfK MRI, replacing former CEO Kathi Love.
