Former Affectiva CEO Langeveld Joins Kantar

In New York, Kantar has appointed former Affectiva CEO Nick Langeveld as EVP, Strategic Alliances, responsible for identifying, structuring and managing partnerships across the US.

Nick LangeveldLangeveld (pictured) has served as President and CEO of emotion measurement specialist Affectiva since 2011, while the firm worked closely with Kantar brands including Millward Brown and Lightspeed. Prior to this, he spent six years at Nielsen, where he was latterly VP/Head of New Business Sales & Development, and earlier worked as CFO of Nielsen BuzzMetrics.

In his new role, Langeveld is charged with driving growth through new and existing partnerships with companies including InfoScout, comScore, Affectiva, Google Consumer Surveys, Zappi and Lumi; and data partnerships such as those with Twitter and Spotify. He will work with business leaders across Kantar on commercial planning, and ensuring that the partnership deals and sales channel agreements result in client-centric new products and technologies.

Langeveld will report to Mary Anne Packo, CEO Insights, Kantar North America and with Kantar President Wayne Levings, who comments: 'Nick brings an outstanding track record in driving strategic partnerships and we are delighted that he will be leading our strategic alliance programme in North America'.
