London Firms Team Up to Improve Customer Engagement

April 3 2017

London-based customer engagement tech firm Thunderhead has partnered with Merkle division DBG, which focuses on integrating data to improve customer communication.

DBG, also based in London and acquired by Maryland, US-based Merkle just over a year ago, works with first, second and third-party data, using analytics and targeting technology to deliver database marketing, campaign management and marketing automation. Technology from what is now called Mekle | DBG will be combined with Thunderhead's ONE Engagement Hub, a cloud-based customer engagement platform working across channels (web, mobile, high street and contact centre) to understand and personalise customer relationships.

Richard Lees, SVP Europe Solutions at Merkle | DBG, comments: 'Our partnership with customer engagement experts Thunderhead is extremely exciting. The ONE Engagement Hub is a revolutionary technology that allows forward-thinking clients to understand their customers in real-time throughout the relationship with their brands. The technology is light-touch, working with systems already in place to create insight that delivers benefits and value fast'. Glen Manchester, Thunderhead CEO and founder, comments: 'We are in a period of rapid innovation and Merkle | DBG is at the frontline, working with transformational businesses on customer engagement to give them a leading edge'.

The partners are online at www.dbg.co.uk and www.thunderhead.com .
