Mustard Strengthens Manchester Team

Manchester, UK-based market research agency Mustard has added to its research and business development teams, with the return of David Hickson as Account Director, the appointments of ben Ashton and Laura James, and the promotions of Victoria Williams (nee Bennett) and Ryan Sherratt.

The full service agency works in a broad range of sectors, on projects including branding, customer satisfaction, segmentation, U&A, NPD and concept testing.

Hickson joined the company in 1996, and has worked in research across B2B and B2C sectors. For the past seven years he ran his own MR business. Ashton joins after a career-break spent travelling, but worked previously as a Research Analyst specialising in customer satisfaction research for The Leadership Factor. James was previously a Qualitative Research Specialist at Directions.

The company is in expansive mood after winning awards for Best Small Business (10-50 employees) and Creative & Media business of the year at the FSB Greater Manchester and North Cheshire Awards last year, and more recently winning the FSB and WorldPay UK 'Employer of the Year' award for the North West region - it is also in the final four for the national award.

Williams is promoted to Senior Research Manager, having joined Mustard in November 2015 after spells client-side at Three and the Financial Times. Sherratt becomes Data Executive, having joined the company just over a year ago on an apprenticeship scheme.
