SugarCRM Launches 'Hint' Relationship Data Tool

Silicon Valley-based software developer SugarCRM has launched a tool called Hint, designed to automatically gather and analyze customer intelligence from a broad range of social media data sources.

Rich GreenHint is the first product from SugarCRM's new Relationship Intelligence product suite, which will use predictive analytics and machine learning techniques with large data sets to identify patterns and issues, and make recommendations for customer interactions and processes. The new tool automatically searches the web for personal and company information, giving customer-facing employees additional information about their contacts. Users just need to provide a few contact details such as e-mail address, name, and company for an individual, then Hint automatically searches and inputs the rest of the personal and corporate profile details for that contact.

Chief Product Officer Rich Green comments: 'With Hint, we are flipping the enterprise data model to that of the consumer world and placing more accurate and timely data in front of the CRM user at Internet scale.
