R/GA Hires for New EMEA Head of Data Role

In London, advertising and digital transformation agency R/GA has hired Hanan Belarbi for the newly created role of Head of Data, EMEA.

Hanan BelarbiR/GA's offer includes product innovation, digital transformation and communications consultancy, and the firm has 2,000 employees in the US, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific. Belarbi (pictured) joins from marketing and branding agency Naked Communications, where she served as Head of Data Europe, building and developing teams of data scientists, data analysts and insight analysts. Before this, she was Customer Insight Analyst at Wunderman; Senior Market Analyst and Trade Marketing at MEDIA POST Publicité; and Market Analyst at IMS Health Strategic Data and at Ducker Worldwide.

In her new role, Belarbi will be responsible for leading the growth of R/GA London's global data capability, and ensuring it is built across each of the company's services. Her remit includes working with all these services to show how data can be used to transform clients' businesses and keep consumers more engaged.

Belarbi will report to Andrew Lam-Po-Tang, Executive Director for Consulting, EMEA, who comments: 'We established the data offering to help clients create new businesses, products and services because we believe that R/GA is best equipped to not only provide strategy, but to continue to guide clients all the way through design, development and launch in market through insights powered by data.
