Funds for Retail Payment Analyst Commercial Signals

In the US, retail payment data insights provider Commercial Signals has closed an additional $12m in Series B funding, which it will use to expand its products, partnerships and geographical reach.

Tom NoyesThe firm's platform gives advertisers access to aggregate transaction data from approximately 70% of US card-based purchases, in near real-time. The firm also provides access to location and payment panel data, giving complete coverage of consumer journeys from the time an ad is seen, to when a purchase is made.

New funding has been led by Stage 1 Ventures, with participation from institutional investors. Commercial Signals CEO Tom Noyes (pictured) comments: 'The continued trend towards real sales accountability for marketing spend, and our ability to help marketers optimize their campaigns based on sales insights, is driving unprecedented demand from some of the largest US retailers. Over the past year Commerce Signals has grown exponentially; this funding will allow us expand the products that help our clients improve marketing performance'.
