Eurodata TV Worldwide Opens Content Insight Division

In France, Eurodata TV Worldwide, the international division of French audience measurement firm Médiamétrie, is opening a Content Insight division led by Avril Blondelot. In addition, Florent Carême has been promoted to the role of Head of Research.

Avril BlondelotEurodata TV Worldwide distributes programming and audience information, based on partnerships with organisations operating people meter systems throughout the world. Its database contains data on more than 7,000 channels in more than 100 territories, and provides daily program information covering content, production, international distribution and audience levels for targeted programmes.

Blondelot will oversee the new Content Insight team, while leading the Research department's collaboration with UK-based Tape Consultancy, the firm which specialises in content and audio-visual programming and production, and in which Eurodata TV Worldwide has held a stake since 2016. Blondelot was previously International Research Manager, having joined in 2010 as a Sales Manager, and before this was a Contract Manager at Eurosport.

Carême will report to Frédéric Vaulpré, Eurodata TV Worldwide Director, while overseeing the entire Research team. He is tasked with defining the division's strategy, including how the service offer and its production should evolve. He joined Médiamétrie in 2015 as International Research and Marketing Manager, before which he was a Strategy and Management Consultant for audio-visual companies at BBDE.
