Join the Dots Expands Manchester Team

Manchester, UK-based consumer insight agency Join the Dots has appointed marketing strategist Tracey Hunter as Senior Client Director, while Martin Bryant joins as Client Director.

Tracey Hunter and Martin BryantJoin the Dots, which was acquired by its senior management team earlier this year, combines primary research with psychology and behavioural economics, and sets up and manages online communities. Last month, the firm launched a dedicated qualitative research unit under the new brand name of Spirit.

Hunter has worked both client side and in ad agencies, most recently at Co-op Food as Senior Marketing Manager - Own Brand Strategy & Design. Before this she was Associate Director of Brand-Chemistry; and Associate Director of TBWA. Earlier, she served as Marketing Manager of Bisto Foods, and Brand Manager at personal healthcare and consumer goods manufacturer PZ Cussons.

Bryant has ten years' client-side experience, most recently at Yum! Restaurants, where he was Senior Consumer Insights Manager for UK and Ireland, working on the KFC brand. Previously, he was Senior Consumer Insights Manager, Europe at batteries and portable lighting products producer Energizer; and he worked for business and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan as Research Manager, Medical Imaging.

News of the hires follows reported revenue growth of 26% to £9.8m for 2016, and turnover of £5.8m for the first six months of 2017 (up 21%). MD Quentin Ashby comments: 'Key to our growth is the focus we place on continuing to develop our existing client relationships and we're constantly looking at how we can best meet their needs. Attracting high calibre talent is key and we are delighted to welcome Tracey and Martin to the team'.
