GfK Hires Media Research Specialist John Sollecito

In New York, GfK has appointed cross-platform media measurement specialist John Sollecito as EVP and Team Leader of Media & Entertainment.

John SellecitoSollecito (pictured) joins from Symphony Advanced Media, where he served as SVP, Client Solutions. Before this he was SVP, Insights & Media Strategy at Al Jazeera America, where he led brand positioning and audience segmentation studies that helped guide the launch of the network's US division in 2013. Earlier, he was Head of Consumer Insights & Analytics at the Associated Press, and he held senior research positions at The NPD Group, Jupiter Media Metrix, MTV Networks and Current TV.
