GfK's Helen Zeitoun Joins Ipsos Leadership Team

February 27 2018

Ipsos has hired long-time GfK exec Helen Zeitoun as Country Manager in France, and CEO of its Sciences Team. She will also serve as Group Associate Director and a member of the Executive Committee, and takes up the new roles in Paris on 1st March.

Helen ZeitounZeitoun (pictured) started her career at TNS, where she worked for three years and latterly served as Director of the Semiometry division. In 1992, she joined GfK where she held different positions in the French subsidiary before becoming its CEO six years later. She then went on to become the Head of the Western Europe region; in 2012, she was appointed Global Head of the company's Brand and Customer Experience business unit; and in 2016, she was named CEO of the Consumer Goods and Retail business unit, based in New York City, where she remained until late 2017.

Zeitoun is now tasked with developing Ipsos in France. She will also work alongside Deputy CEO and Ipsos Sciences Team Chairman Henri Wallard, overseeing a group of researchers that Ipsos is bringing together to strengthen its expertise in disciplines such as behavioural sciences, neuroscience, statistics and sociology. Throughout March, she will work with former France Country Manager Amaury de Condé, who is leaving the role to join Ipsos Global Headquarter Services (GHS) as Director.

Company founder and CEO Didier Truchot comments: 'I have known Helen for a long time. Her arrival in Ipsos is something I had always hoped would happen. Helen embodies the best that the marketing sciences industry could offer: an impeccable technical knowledge, established on a solid scientific background and considerable experience, combined with her rigour and recognized leadership capacities. I also want to thank Amaury for the work he has done during the last twelve months. In a complex market, he was able to stabilize the teams, to work well with a large number of clients and in the end, to build solid foundations on which we will execute an active development policy in France'.
