Remesh Secures $10m Funding Round

March 28 2018

In the US, MR software firm Remesh has raised $10m in a Series A round of funding, for use in further developing its 'new approach' to research.

Andrew KonyaRemesh was founded in 2014 by a team of ex-Googlers, academics, physicists, consultants and political operatives, and is headquartered in New York. Its survey tool uses machine learning and natural language processing to gather, filter and rank the collective opinion of crowds in a conversational format. Client companies can engage with 'any audience' - including their customers, employees or target market - via an intuitive chat interface in real-time. AI is used to analyze, understand and segment audience responses as they happen.

New funding has been led by General Catalyst, with participation from seed round lead investor LionBrid Ventures, as well as North Coast Angel Fund and Techstars Ventures. CEO and co-founder Andrew Konya (pictured) comments: 'We've already made amazing progress at the intersection of AI, human interaction design and understanding people. This round marks the next significant step forward'.
