Citilabs Adds Pedestrian Data to Streetlytics

May 2 2018

Mobility analytics solution provider Citilabs has added what it describes as a 'first-of-its-kind' pedestrian analytics dataset to its population movement platform Streetlytics.

Michael ClarkeSacramento-based Citilabs offers solutions for measuring, managing and predicting how people move and goods flow. Its Streetlytics platform offers information from billions of data points to measure the moving population, providing hour-by-hour origin-destination movements, all streets directional road volumes for vehicles and pedestrians, and traveller demographics based on derived home locations. With the new data added, it now provides hour-by-hour pedestrian volume analytics for the entire United States, along with insights into when, where, why, and how people travel.

Citilabs CEO Michael Clarke (pictured) comments: 'Streetlytics provides a comprehensive understanding of population movement - and that understanding now includes pedestrians. We are excited to make this new data available for the first time to our clients and partners. It will be key to designing and optimizing the transportation solutions and cities of tomorrow'.
