Voxpopme Promotes Co-founder Williams for CRO Role

May 30 2018

In Birmingham, UK, video research technology company Voxpopme has promoted Tom Williams to Chief Revenue Officer, following twelve months of rapid growth.

Tom WilliamsVoxpopme's app collects consumer feedback on brands in the form of video responses direct from mobile phones, and includes a sentiment analysis feature. Last autumn, the company received a seven-figure Series A round of investment from Mercia Fund Managers, for use in global expansion, to enhance its technology, and to hire fifteen additional staff across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. It currently has offices in the US and Australia.

Williams (pictured) was a co-founder of the company in 2013, and has been instrumental in its global expansion - scaling the business into a venture-backed, end-to-end video insight solution for market research, customer and employee experience programs. Prior to joining he spent four years in the recruitment sector, including three as Business Development Consultant at Encore Personnel.

In his new role he will develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and long-term growth, aligning teams across North America, EMEA and APAC.

CEO Dave Carruthers comments: 'Since launching Voxpopme in 2013, Tom has been critical to the growth of the company. He has a solid track record of delivering great value and service for our clients while building recurring revenue for our business. We would not be where we are today without him, so it is a pleasure to recognise his contribution. We're excited to see where he can take Voxpopme in this new global role'.
