Change of CEO for Label Insight

In the US, product data specialist Label Insight has promoted co-founder Ronak Sheth to the role of Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Paul Schaut, who is stepping down to focus on his various Board commitments and personal interests.

Ronak ShethLabel Insight provides a platform for CPG product information, covering more than 80% of top selling food, pet, and personal care items in the US. The company's proprietary data science and machine learning capabilities capture product labeling information and create more than 22,000 unique custom attributes per product. In addition, the company partners with Nielsen to measure sales of ingredients and US government-regulated attributes for non-food categories.

Sheth (pictured), until now the firm's Chief Strategy Officer, has sixteen years of start-up experience in software applications, consulting, technology, manufacturing and sales. He has used his consulting and technology skills to drive initiatives for global companies across various industries including consumer products, grocery retail, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, high-tech electronics, chemicals, oil, industrial, and legal.
