GfK has appointed long-time auto industry exec Jim Ehrlich as SVP and Account Manager in its Auto Syndicated (Automobility) team in North America.Ehrlich (pictured), who will be based in Los Angeles, joins with a background in market research, marketing, digital strategy, and product development in the auto sector. Most recently, he was Director of Research and Market Intelligence at Cox Automotive, prior to which, he held corporate, marketing, product and strategic planning roles at Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Capital America. He has also worked at research firms MORPACE and Nielsen Neurofocus, as well as the US Census Bureau.
In his new role, Ehrlich will primarily work with West Coast automotive clients. Tom Neri, Commercial Director for Technology and Durables in North America, comments: 'We are thrilled to add someone with Jim's credentials and strategic experience to an already strong team.
