New Funds for Competitor Intelligence Firm BrandTotal

Tel-Aviv-based competitor marketing intelligence platform BrandTotal has closed a $6m round of funding, which it will use to expand its sales, marketing and data science efforts through new international offices in New York and elsewhere.

Alon LeibovichBrandTotal's SaaS solution uses signal detection to identify trends between brands within the industry-wide competitive landscape, while targeting specific demographics and analyzing audience sentiment. The firm uses proprietary machine learning to model online activity and identifies competitive plans, enabling brands to adjust their own marketing strategy on the fly.

New funding has been led by Flint Capital, with participation from NHN Investment, One Way Ventures, and F J Labs, bringing the total raised-to-date to $8m. Alon Leibovich (pictured), CEO and co-founder of BrandTotal, comments: 'The support from Flint Capital and our investment leaders has already created new growth opportunities for BrandTotal, by allowing us to optimize and expand the roll-out of our agile marketing platform.
