Location Sciences Hires President for Americas

Place data verification specialist Location Sciences has appointed former Havas exec Warren Zenna as President, Americas, based in New York.

Headquartered in London, the company operates the a proprietary platform called Verify to analyze the accuracy and quality of location data used in proximity-targeted advertising; and help marketers target real and relevant mobile audiences. The business has recently gone public on the London Stock Exchange, raising $4.4m to support its North American expansion.

Zenna (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' global digital marketing experience. Most recently, he worked for Havas Group's mobile unit Mobext as VP, Managing Director US; before which he was Publicis' VP, Mobile Strategy. Earlier he led new business opportunities for online buzz measurement specialist iCrossing, and he held senior roles at data-driven marketing tech firm Zeta Interactive and Nameim² (now known as MEplusYou).

In his new position, Zenna is responsible for market entrance, strategy, partnerships and growth in the US and Canada. CEO Mark Slade comments: 'Our US expansion is central to our overall business strategy and finding the right leader for this critical phase was paramount. Warren's network and his extensive knowledge of both the mobile media buying ecosystem coupled with his success in building new businesses made him the ideal fit for our US expansion efforts'.
