UserTesting Debuts 'ProductInsight' Tool

Customer experience research specialist UserTesting has launched a new application called ProductInsight, which promises to help bring rapid customer feedback into every phase of the new product development process.

Michael MaceThe new tool is built on UserTesting's Human Insight customer experience measurement platform, and will deliver feedback in less than a day, allowing users to recruit and schedule live customer interviews and informing the prioritisation and optimisation of product features. Features incude Preformatted Quick Answer tests; rapid video feedback with simple sharing of highlights reels; same day video interviews; and on-demand access to research professionals.

VP of Market Strategy Michael Mace (pictured) says the new tool is based on everything the firm has learned from a decade of testing, plus input from more than a hundred product leaders who have used the platform and given feedback. He adds: 'We created Product Insight to empower product managers to move quickly and confidently, knowing every decision is user tested and approved'.

UserTesting, which earlier this month launched Live Conversation Mobile, a feature allowing users to interview customers on their mobile devices, is backed by investors Accel and OpenView. The firm is headquartered in San Francisco, and online at www.usertesting.com .
