London-based research platform Attest has raised $15m from an unnamed investor. This new round of funding will be used to further expand in the US, where it has hired Marc Schraer and Tamer Abouleinein.
Launched out of beta in 2016, Attest's platform gives clients answers to questions from audiences of more than 100 million consumers across 80 markets in as little as 90 seconds. The firm says users can find out more about their target consumers, enter new markets, build new categories, validate decisions, develop better products and services, measure their brand, and track competition.
Attest's $16m Series A round closed a year ago and was led by global venture capital firm NEA, which also participated in the new round. Alongside the investment, Attest has expanded its US team with the appointment of Schraer, Contently's former SVP, Global Sales, as SVP North America; while Abouleinein joins as an Account Executive after roles at NewsWhip and 101data.
