STRAT7 Expands Sales and Marketing Team

In the UK, marketing and customer analytics consultancy STRAT7 has appointed former Kantar exec Giles Darby as Group Commercial Director; Richard Morland as Group Marketing Director; and Oliver Gwynne as Content & Digital Marketing Manager.

Founded in 2019 by data and analytics agencies ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch, together with start-up LiFE, STRAT7 specialises in converting market and customer data into knowledge, insight and competitive advantage for businesses across sectors including retail & FMCG, entertainment, technology and healthcare. Headquartered in London, with offices in Amsterdam, Leeds, New York, Singapore, Stockholm and Sydney, the firm acquired cultural insights and strategy consultancy Crowd DNA last year.

Darby (pictured) joins from Kantar, where he served as Commercial Director leading the SaaS and Enterprise teams across reputational, consumer, ad and sports intelligence. Prior to this he held senior roles at TouchCast, founded start-up advisor Hullabaloo, and was Global Commercial Director at music sector social media network Crowdmix. In his new role, Darby will work with Paul Wilson, who recently joined STRAT7 ResearchBods as Business Development Manager.

Morland, who previously held senior marketing roles at 1E and GfK, is now responsible for overall marketing strategy and increasing brand awareness for STRAT7 and its operating companies, while Gwynne joins from international consulting firm Proservartner.
