New Australian MD for Polk

Automotive specialist R. L. Polk & Co. has appointed Steve Flinker as Managing Director of its Australian company. He will be based in Melbourne and will report directly to Kevin McCann, Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific.

Flinker takes responsibility for the development, sales, growth and profitability of R. L. Polk Australia. He joined Polk in 1978, holding various leadership and management positions within its Cincinnati operations; and served in sales and account management capacities within Polk North America's Ford, General Motors and Chrysler/VW Audi teams. He was most recently vice president of Polk North America's Ford team.

He has demonstrated remarkable proficiency in both sales and operational management, and will be a driving force as we grow the Australian business for years to come'.
