Shopper insights specialist Behaviorally (previously known as PRS IN VIVO USA) has expanded into Asia, opening hubs in both Singapore and Shanghai. Former PRS IN VIVO execs Nichole Gu and Melvin Ng join as Managing Director, Asia and Vice President, Market Development respectively.
The recently rebranded company combines its own behavioral framework with category expertise to examine the drivers of consumer behavior and shopper growth. The new Flash.AI solution enhances this analysis using image recognition to compare designs against the firm's database of more than 10,000 pack and shelf designs.
Gu, who will now be MD of both Shanghai and Singapore, joined PRS IN VIVO nearly seven years ago, and most recently served as VP, Client Development. She previously held senior positions including Regional Client Director at Kantar and at TNS, before which she spent fourteen years at Research International. Ng returned to PRS IN VIVO in 2019, after a year as MD of Asia Insight in Shanghai. Prior to this he managed the company in China, and he held senior client servicing roles at Kantar Millward Brown, Kantar Consulting and Synovate. Both are based in Singapore.
Commenting on the news, Chief Commercial Officer, Scott Brill, said: 'Having considered several talented leaders to spearhead Behaviorally's expansion across Asia, I can say unequivocally that in Nichole and Melvin, we are thrilled to have two uniquely qualified regional experts to serve the shopper marketing needs of clients'.
