Firefish Group-owned child and family research specialist The Pineapple Lounge (TPL) has promoted Riwanon Gestin and Dee Cahill to the role of Joint Managing Director, as Emma Worrollo moves on to 'new adventures' after eleven years with the business.
Launched in 2011, TPL offers strategic consultancy, research, market analysis and trend forecasting for kids and families brands. Gestin takes up the post of MD - Strategy, having joined in 2016, and most recently served as Senior Global Strategy Director. Earlier, she worked for innovation company PlayScience as SVP of Global Research and Consumer Insights, and was International Research Director at MTV Networks International for more than a decade.
Cahill has been promoted to MD - Operations, after nearly nine years with the group, where she initially served as Field Manager of Firefish, before moving to TPL in 2014 and most recently serving as its Senior Operations Director. She began her career at Mullholland Research, where she worked for nearly a decade, then at Rosenblatt Research, before moving to Sparkler as Field Manager.
Gestin and Cahill have been promoted as TPL founder Emma Worrollo focuses on her next initiative, Playful Den, while continuing to support the TPL leadership team and key accounts.
