Ascribe Opens German Data Centre

US-based verbatim analysis specialist Ascribe has expanded in the EU, through the launch of a GDPR-compliant data centre in Germany.

The firm's SaaS-based technologies enable analysis of verbatim comments from 'any' channel or language. Last year, it launched a suite of solutions called the AI Classification Service, which categorizes verbatim comments and provides a report within 24 hours, regardless of survey length or respondent count. In 2019, it launched an office in Hamburg.

Through the latest German launch, clients can upload all data collected in the EU to Ascribe, including those for government studies. CEO Rick Kieser (pictured) comments: 'After opening our office in Germany under the leadership of Gustav Jaeckel, establishing a data center in Germany is the next logical step in our expansion and meets the requests of existing clients. Now, our EU based clients will be able to code all of their EU work within Ascribe with data encrypted end-to-end and improved connection speed'.
