LiveRamp Names Chief People Officer

San Francisco-based enterprise data and analytics platform LiveRamp has appointed Sharawn Tipton as Chief People Officer, overseeing all aspects of people and culture programs, including global talent acquisition, HR technology and 'people operations'.

Sharawn TiptonFormerly known as Acxiom Corporation, LiveRamp offers a data platform allowing clients to onboard, access and activate their data. Tipton (pictured) joins from Micron Technology, where she served as Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Before this she worked for manufacturing partner Flex as VP, Global Total Rewards / Executive Compensation and Diversity & Inclusion; and global architecture, design and planning firm Gensler as Head of Global HR Shared Services & Corporate HR. She began her HR career at Safeway, where she served as HR Manager for eight years.

In addition, Tipton is the Chair of the Board for Fair Pay Workplace, a non-profit dedicated to dismantling unlawful pay disparities in the workplace based on gender and race, and is the Bay Area Local Advisory Board Chair for College Track, an educational non-profit. She takes over her new role from Brandon Sammut, who served as Chief People & Culture Officer until September, and is now Chief People Officer at web app integration specialist Zapier.
