QRCA Elects Roben Allong as New President

In the US, the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) has elected Roben Allong as its new President for 2021-2022. She succeeds Caroline Volpe, President of Compass Market Research, who held the role for the 2020-2021 period.

Roben AllongNot-for-profit QRCA offers access to a network of more than a thousand qual experts, who are involved in the design and implementation of focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-context and observational research, as well as other qual approaches. Allong (pictured) joined QRCA in 2007, and has since served as VP, Treasurer and Secretary on the Board of Directors. She is the CEO and founder of New York-based MR and strategy boutique agency Lightbeam Communications, and previously a Consultant at Think Global Qualitative and a Market Strategist at RealityCheck.

In addition to Allong, the 2021-2022 Board of Directors includes Farnaz Badie of The Thought Bubble, new Board member and Secretary Susan Fader of FaderFocus, Pam Goldfarb Liss of LitBrains - Igniting Ideas!, Corette Haf of Corporate Research Consultancy, new Board member Cynthia Harris of 8:28 Consulting, VP Michael Mermelstein of Nichols Research, Treasurer Joel Reish of Cox Automotive Inc. and Anya Zadrozny of AnyaZMedia.
