Consumer insights provider Toluna has expanded to Thailand, where it has hired former Nielsen exec Chumphol (Marc) Sivawettakul as Business Development Director, Southeast Asia. He is based in Bangkok.
Toluna, which is the parent company of Harris Interactive and KuRunData, already works with several brands and MR agencies in Thailand. Sivawettakul (pictured) joins with more than eighteen years' business development and consulting experience, with a focus on the retail and FMCG sectors across Southeast Asia. Most recently he was Business Development Lead at data-driven growth platform EYOS, before which he served as Director, Retailer Services at Nielsen. He began his MR career at Millward Brown, before holding senior roles at Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, Symphony EYC, and Expedia.
In his new role, Sivawettakul will be responsible for continuing to drive Toluna's growth across the Thailand market. Commenting on the news, MD APAC Ludo Milet says: 'Business in Southeast Asia continues to grow at a rapid pace, and it's critical that we continue to grow our team and add local expertise to meet the needs of our clients across the region.
