Year of Rapid Growth for Pureprofile

Consumer data company Pureprofile has issued a business update for the period ended 30th June 2022, with full year revenue up 39% to $AUD 41.7m, and EBITDA up 28% to $AUD 4.0m.

The company reports strong growth from both new and existing clients across all markets: revenue from existing clients was up 30%, while revenue from 136 new clients delivered an incremental $5.3m during the year. Revenue growth from regions outside Australia was up 48%, and the firm its panel size grew by 43%.

In the fourth quarter, revenue was up 29% to $10.9m, while EBITDA was flat at $1m due to continued investment in new commercial heads associated operational support in markets outside Australia.

The year has seen partnerships announced with Australian research agency Lewers, sample exchange Cint, Southeast Asian content and community platform theAsianparent, and panel management solution SampleNinja, and a recent spate of senior appointments has included Rachel Knowles as Head of Data & Insight UK; Michelle Mowle as Global Head of Talent and Culture; Ashish Pandey as Head of Sales - Data & Insights, US and India; Shelley Barber as Business Development Director in the UK; and Joris Schellekens, promoted to Head of Data & Insights for mainland Europe.

CEO Martin Filz comments: 'We are very pleased to have delivered on all the initiatives that we set ourselves for FY22. This has allowed us to make additional investments in Q4 designed to deliver continued top line growth in FY23. All of this whilst continuing to record a positive operating cash flow, strong customer growth and revenue diversification'.

The firm says it remains on track to expand the international business into the larger UK, European and US markets, whilst continuing to grow in Australia. Audited full year results will be published at the end of August
