RealityMine Adds Connected Device Content Analysis

September 4 2023

Manchester, UK-based mobile device data firm RealityMine has enhanced its video measurement offering with a tool called Connect, allowing for analysis of content consumption across major streaming platforms and all connected devices.

Chris HavemannEstablished by Garry Partington and Rolfe Swinton in 2011, and with additional offices in London and Stockholm, RealityMine enables MR and media organisations to monitor real life consumer behaviour on multiple devices, across all major platforms. The firm's Data Marketplace gives clients access to digital behaviour data from real people via global, privacy-compliant datasets - including consumers' mobile search behaviour.

According to the firm, gaps in existing measurement capabilities mean that streaming platforms do not have a complete understanding of their audiences beyond first party data assets, and studios lack visibility into the streaming audiences their shows and movies generate. The new RealityMine Connect service aims to close this gap, by capturing audience data across all connected devices (including CTV), and enabling clients to see details of consumption habits across all major streaming platforms and services.

CEO Chris Havemann (pictured) comments: 'The release of RealityMine Connect underlines our commitment to helping our clients and partners overcome major measurement challenges through innovative technology solutions. Timely market and customer intelligence will be key to sustaining competitive advantage in the increasingly challenging media ecosystem'.
