DoubleVerify Expands EMEA Offer with Key Hires

Digital media measurement company DoubleVerify (DV) has announced key hires in Europe as it expands across the EMEA region. Lisa Mahfud joins as Business Director in the Netherlands, Daniele Maccarrona in Italy and Kenny Spangberg in Sweden.

In the summer, the company agreed to acquire AI-powered digital campaign optimization specialist Scibids Technology, in a cash and stock transaction valued at $125m, and since then it has announced strong third quarter results, with revenue up 28% to $144.0m, and adjusted EBITDA of $45.7m. EMEA led the growth with revenue up 75%.

Mahfud (middle picture) has worked in the ad industry for some ten years, most recently as Country Manager at Targetspot. Maccarrona (top) will cover Italy and Southern Europe more generally, and brings more than seventeen years of experience in advertising, media, and technology, originally in 2006 at Yahoo! and most recently at Quantcast Italy, where he led the execution of commercial strategy. Spangberg (below) has worked at Google, Xaxis and Widespace, and will drive DV's commercial strategy in the Nordics and Northern Europe.
