'Breakthrough' Upgrades for Canvs AI Analysis Features

In the US, text analysis specialist Canvs AI has announced product upgrades for its thematic summarizing, AI Story Assist co-pilot and topic monitoring tools which it says will 'deepen consumer empathy, unlock data-driven storytelling, and boost research productivity and happiness'.

New York-based Canvs uses a patented AI and machine learning platform to analyze open-ended text, helping clients understand how consumers and employees feel, why, and the resulting business impact for brands. The latest enhancements follow the raising in September of $15m in funding, which the firm will use to accelerate product development and go-to-market expansion.

The new 'set it and forget it' data integrations include topic monitoring for X / Twitter, and the ability for customers to bring their Facebook, Instagram and YouTube campaigns and accounts into the Canvs platform. The firm's automated thematic summarization technology now produces an 'even more-accurate and intuitive' hierarchy of themes and categories within open-ended consumer feedback; and its AI Story Assist feature now includes quantitative citations of key themes in open-ended data, allowing researchers to verify narrative summaries with full transparency down to the individual verbatim comment.
