Influx at Analytics Firm

US agency Marketing Management Analytics, Inc. (MMA) has recruited nine people to support its 'Marketing Effectiveness on Demand' initiative, with more hires planned for 2005.
Marketing Effectiveness on Demand adds consulting and rich analytic tools to the company's core competencies of data integration and advanced analytics. EVP, Product Development and Marketing John Nardone says that client response to the new initiative is so positive that the company has accelerated the staffing of the supporting technology and consulting skills, a process which will continue into 2005.
Five of the new arrivals come from consultancy firm BearingPoint:
- David Skinner, now VP Development at MMA, was senior manager in the Technology Strategy and Transformation practice at BearingPoint
- Douglas Brooks, Director Development, was a manager in the same practice. Both these two also worked previously at Andersen Business Consulting.
- Trey Jackson, Manager Implementation
- Ian Fulton, Manager Development, and
- Justin Haislip, User Interface Development. These three were all formerly part of BearingPoint's Technology Strategy and Transformation practice.
The others recruited are:
- Wing Pepper, SVP Account Service who joins MMA following nearly 10 years at Modem Media, and previous experience as a brand manager for Rockport.
- Paul Davis, Director Analytic Development, joins from Modem Media with more than 15 years of experience in marketing analytics. Prior to Modem, he worked for companies including USA Networks, A.C. Nielsen, Avis Rent-a-car and Arbitron.
- Myong Lee, VP Account and Consulting, is a statistician with 15 years of data mining experience who has worked at Citibank, Wells Fargo, GE and Accenture.
- Doug Woestendiek, Director Systems Architecture and Development, joins from IBM where he worked for 20 years in product development
