VideoAmp Links Solutions with VALID Technology

March 1 2024

US-based audience measurement company VideoAmp has unveiled a big data and technology 'engine' called VALID, which measures and targets cross-platform audiences and promises more efficient media spending, higher conversion rates and more accurate data for publishers.

Josh HudginsNow in its tenth year as a company, VideoAmp had an active and high-profile year in 2023, including the raising of $150m in growth funding in September, but in January this year announced that founder Ross McCray would step down as CEO, while reports suggested it would cut around 20% of its staff.

VALID (VideoAmp Linked Identity & Data) links VideoAmp's TV viewing data from 39m households and 63m devices with its Commingled Identity Graph and patented Clean Room technology to offer 'a more accurate representation of advanced audiences across linear TV and digital screens'.

Chief Product Officer Josh Hudgins comments, 'In today's advertising landscape, where the demise of cookies, the shift to on-demand streaming, and privacy regulations create challenges, VALID enables deduplicated cross-platform measurement in a secure way. The VALID identity graph, coupled with our clean room technology, connect disparate online and offline datasets giving advertisers a full picture of how their campaigns drive outcomes in the real world.'

VideoAmp is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York with offices across the USA, and is online at www.videoamp.com .
