Arbitron Radio Appointment

February 14 2005

US audience measurement giant Arbitron last week announced the appointment of Scott Musgrave to the new position of Senior VP, Marketing, US Media Client Software. Musgrave will lead both the enhancement of existing software and the development of new software and services for US Media Customers.

Musgrave moves from the post of Senior VP & General Manager, Arbitron Radio where he was responsible for revenue success and customer satisfaction within Radio Station Services. He has been a primary liaison with the Arbitron Radio Advisory Council since 2001. He will remain in the New York office.

He worked for Arbitron from 1986 to 1990, in Dallas and New York, then returned after five years in sales for various radio stations in Philadelphia. In the last decade he has been Arbitron's Marketing Manager for Radio Station Services and VP & General Manager for Domestic Radio.

Musgrave has a bachelor's degree, from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. He will report to Owen Charlebois, President, US Media Services. Charlebois says the firm is 'evolving quickly as we move to stay in front of changes that are affecting our industry at many levels' and that Musgrave has 'the unique ability to translate the understanding of the inner workings of media business into software tools that will provide the maximum return on investment for Arbitron customers'.
